PLAY - GROUND 0

We have played games since we were children, but as we grow older, we realise that maybe we are living in a game of change. When there is a game, the games always end with a winner and loser(s). But what if the game never ends? There is only round 1, 2, 3, etc... but never an ending. We are still affected by the last round of the game; the game that is continuingly changing only to benefit the bigger power.

Who has the bigger power?
The one who voices the issues?
Or the one who silences the others?

In these two pieces, you will find images of the past (“Shall Not Be Named Event” in China, 1989) and the present (Hong Kong protests, 2019-present) with similar elements and goals.
